FxPro at a glance

FxPro’s platform comparison includes MetaTrader and cTrader, with account structures such as Standard and Raw+. Its broader platform offering also includes FxPro Edge. Product access and charges can differ across these combinations.

Our take

FxPro is a useful candidate when platform choice is central to your research. Choose the platform first, then compare the associated account terms: a price shown for one setup should not be assumed to apply to another.

FxPro pros and cons

What stands out

  • Several platform families to compare.
  • Alternative spread and commission structures are published.
  • MetaTrader EAs and cTrader cBots offer different automation routes.

What to weigh up

  • Platform and account combinations can be confusing to compare.
  • Fees should be calculated for your own trade size and instruments.
  • Automated tools still require monitoring and risk controls.

Platforms, apps and trading tools

The best interface for your research is the one you can understand and use consistently. Compare the functions you need on each device, including how to review open positions and change an order.

MetaTrader

Compare MT4 and MT5 account choices, instrument lists and the compatibility of any indicators or EAs you use.

cTrader

A separate trading environment with its own workflow and automation tools. Check the matching account pricing.

FxPro Edge

Review the broker-built alternative alongside MetaTrader and cTrader. Check current access for your entity and device.

Automation

MetaTrader EAs and cTrader cBots use different ecosystems. An automated strategy can still lose money and may need ongoing maintenance.

Accounts, fees and trading costs

Use FxPro’s platform comparison as your starting point. Standard, Raw+ and cTrader pricing should be compared on a like-for-like basis, including any commission and overnight charges.

Cost checklist for FxPro; not a live price quote.
Cost areaWhat variesWhat to check
SpreadPlatform/account dependentRecord the spread for your chosen instrument and account during the session you plan to trade.
CommissionSeparate on some setupsAdd both sides of the trade where relevant; read the units used in the fee schedule.
Overnight holdingInstrument-specificCheck the swap schedule for the direction and duration of your position.
Account eligibilityConfirm before choosingCheck any deposit, balance or volume requirements attached to the account you are comparing.

A practical comparison: write down one instrument, a fixed trade size and a holding period. Ask each broker for the applicable spread, commission and swap terms for that scenario. Check currency conversions and non-trading charges separately.

Regulation, country access and risk

A brand name is not the same as the legal entity on your account agreement. Before sending funds, identify the company that would serve you and verify its permissions with the relevant regulator. Do not assume that protection offered by one company in a group applies to every account.

  1. Match the entityRead the legal name on the registration page and client agreement. Check the regulator’s register directly, including the approved website address.
  2. Understand the protectionsCheck how client money is handled, whether any compensation scheme applies, and the rules for complaints and negative balances.
  3. Read the product riskLeverage magnifies both gains and losses. A stop-loss order may execute at a different price during a gap or fast market.

Local account documents take precedence over a general group description. Read the broker’s applicable client agreement and risk disclosures before opening an account.

06 / THE REVIEW

Before you open your FxPro account

  1. Check eligibility and documentsConfirm that residents of your country are accepted. Read the account agreement and find out which identity and address documents are required.
  2. Practise the complete workflowIf a suitable demo is available, practise placing, modifying and closing an order. Check position size and margin before each practice trade.
  3. Review funding and withdrawalsCheck the payment method, account currency, processing rules and any fees. Use only the official broker account area.
  4. Set your own limitsDecide whether the product fits your knowledge and financial circumstances. Do not fund an account with money you cannot afford to lose.

Our review approach

What this review covers

This is a source-based review of published platform, account and cost information. FTB has not conducted a live funded-account execution or withdrawal test for this page. We do not present broker marketing claims as independently measured results.

Our commentary explains practical trade-offs. Product access and terms can change by country, entity and account. Featured partner placements are commercial promotions, and advertisements are labelled.

FxPro: common questions

Can I use automated strategies with FxPro?

FxPro describes automation through MetaTrader Expert Advisors and cTrader cBots. Compatibility depends on the platform and tool. Test the workflow, review account conditions and remember that automation does not guarantee performance.

Is FxPro available in my country?

Check the broker’s current registration and legal pages for your country of residence. A global website or a review score does not confirm local eligibility or the legal entity that would serve you.

Does visiting through FTB change what I should check?

No. The broker sets the account terms. FTB may receive compensation through affiliate links, so review the official fees, eligibility and risk information before deciding whether to register.

Is a demo account enough to judge a broker?

A demo can help you learn the platform, but it does not establish live execution quality, withdrawal service or future trading results. Treat it as one part of your research.
